Is there a better place to order f/t pinkies from online?

I want to be able to order in small quantities (less than 10) from a reputable feeder breeder, since the health of my snake depends on the health of the food.

My local shop keeps very unhealthy pinkies, so I won't use them.

Online ordering suggestions? Comments about the place I listed?

The only on-line place I have ordered from is RodentPro.com. They do not sell such small quantities, however. RodentPro's pinkies come in bags of 100. They are supposed to stay good for around 6 months in the freezer. You might want to consider the shipping costs for frozen delivery, too. You will end up spending quite a bit just on shipping and that wouldn't make ordering on-line practical if you are only ordering 10 pinkies. Good luck trying to find a place to order from!

Yeah, like CornCrazy said...

If you order such small quantities online you will find that the postage costs more than the mice themselves. People usually only order online if they are buying many mice. I just ordered forty-five fuzzies and forty-five hoppers. The mice cost £32 and the postage was £7. I've just been on a site and found out that if I was to order ten adult mice it would cost about five pounds and the postage would cost the same!!

Maybe you should hunt around for another pet shop that sells nice healthy mice otherwise you'll be spending a fortune buying small quantities online. Alternatively you could buy six months worth of mice online and save money. The more mice you buy, the more money you save. If properly packaged, mice can last six months in the freezer.

The next closest pet shop is pretty far, and I know nothing about how they keep their mice.

I'm not concerned about cost, just what is good for my snake.

Yes, I have seen the "breeding facilities" of the shop nearest me. I'm currently working on getting them put out of business for their violations of animal cruelty laws.

I don't know about the shop half and hour from me, but that doesn't make me feel any better about them.

i tend to get my pinkies from where i brought my snake he has never turned down i feed and i was wondering if maybe pinkies from different shops smell different and if they do could he tell!
(hope that made sence)
