Hi all,
So I have sterilites (12qt) in a rack and each one has ~88 holes in it for ventilation. I tossed my hygrometer into one of them overnight and this afternoon it read about 70%. I'm using newspaper substrate and the water dish is on the "cool" side although the temp is pretty uniform throughout. I'm looking for options or ideas to lower the humidity. I really don't want to risk resp. infections. I know about trying a dehumidifier or just drilling more holes. I also considered aspen but since they are hatchlings it would require alot of cleaning and I probably still wouldn't get it completely clean. Are there any other ideas out there as to options I might have to lower the humidity? Thanks
Forgot to mention that 2 or 3 of them have 1/8 inch holes the rest have holes that I made with a soldering iron. Not sure the size of those but it is just a bit bigger than 1/8 inch.
