I would just like to say that this was Sals second shed since I have had him, and the first one was in pieces and i had to assist him in getting the tip of the tail off. Well since he went in the blue i made him a moist hide out of peat moss that he has been using and this morning i woke up to a PERFECT shed... tail tip and eye caps all in one piece! Im so proud of him! :dancer:

Well done!! You should be proud of yourself too as it was you observations and adjustments that helped to refine his environment so that he functioned well!

Now the trick is to do it month after month after month!

:wavey: :dancer: Yay for Salazar! and you too! I know how that feels when they have a bad shed and then the next one is a good one. It totally made your day huh? I still have my amels first good shed. Its sitting up on a shelf along with her second good shed too. I can't wait to compare it to my new little one's shed. His is going to be so tiny. Congrats again!

I bought an adult female sunglow about 6 weeks ago who was in heavy blue and shed 4 days later in about 30 pieces...and they're the bits that actually came off! -It was a shock for me to see a snake shed in so many little flakes as I've managed to keep conditions well balanced enough with all my darlings to have single piece sheds...or at worst one that breaks on the way off. I'm making it my challenge to make all her future sheds come off like a sock!
