ok i have a 30-40 gallon uth heating my 29 gallon ok and i have a heatlamp at all times because its so freaking COLD! well today i walked in and with everything on and i checked the uth its only at 73 degrees so could someone help please!
 
and i just fed him last night and hes not hiding hes out on the aspen basking i geuss trying to get as much heat as possible.
 
you could try covering the top of part of the viv to conserve heat, but if you have a lamp on it, don't use something that could catch fire. Also, where at in the room is it located? If you have the viv right next to a window or something else that could potentially cause a draft, move it. (the window doesn't have to be open to cause a draft either, I have single-pane glass in my apartment, and when it gets really cold out, if I sit near the closed window it still feels like the wind is blowing just from the temp drop across the glass)
