Awesome! a lost snake found.

Always mostly awesome
I've been really upset over the last week here after first loosing right out of his viv my hatchling normal; Salazar. I figured he got out by pushing the lid open, something I didn't know he was strong enough to do, So I put a big weight on it to keep in my second snake, 05 hatchling Anery; Mordecai. Apparently though this lid just sucks and Mordecai got out not even a week later. I've been searching and searching for the last week and praying for the little guys, but I found no sign of them. Today however, in a nice little spot I set up to catch them, with a live mouse in a little cage for some food smell, A heat pad, water dish and the hide from in there cage. Today I found Mordecai in my corn trap (yeah! praise the Lord!). So I'm feeling pretty good right now. Mordecai just ate two pinkies, drank some water and is now resting save in his viv (with a new lid even). So one snake came back, Still hoping my other guy shows up soon, it's been almost two weeks since he got out.

Mordecai

Wow!!! That is so cool. I think Mordecai is the third lost snake found today. Isn't that just the coolest thing. I found my snake last night, and another person found their snake too. Yay! for found snakies.

Hooray for found lost snakes! My daughter (age 9) currently has had one missing at her Dad's house for the last few weeks. I think I am going to duplicate your snake trap method and send over a heat mat & kritter keeper with a green anole tonight. And the prayer, too...that's what worked for me when I lost my little one last summer. Found her on the kitchen counter(!).
Happy for you
Marsha
