Hi, My Name is John Griffioen. I've been a member of the forums since April 2005. I live in Portage Michigan. I'm an 8th grader at Portage Central Middle School (GO MUSTANGS). I've been interested in reptiles since i was 7. I got my first corn 3 years ago ( my amel). Currently i have an English setter,Jonah and a Pomeranian, Jasper. A Sun Conure, Peaches. 3 corns. And 6 freshwater fish tanks. A bunny, Eyeore, and a hamster - Oreo and dopey.

I am in the 8th grade varsity band. I play the trombone with an "F" attachment. I was nominated and accepted by the Honors band in Michigan. I am also in the Middle School Jazz band. I have a 2 year 4.0 in academics and going for 3 years this year.

I have a sister named Rebecca. She has CFIDS ( Chronic Fatigue Immune Deficiency Syndrome) and POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome)
She has been struggling with CFIDS for 3 years.

This summer we went on vacation to yellowstone N.P. and Grand Teton N.P. etc. We had a great time.

Just thought i would formally introduce my self. Welcome to all the new members! - John
 
Both the Grand Teton and Yellowstone are impressive places. Congratulations on your achedemics, and musical talents as well. Each time I visit this forum and read a thread from you I am equally impressed. I am sorry to hear your sister has such ailments and can tell that you care for her a lot. You seem to be a bright young man. Thank You for your posts and take care.

Thank you, yes i care for my sister a lot even if i dont act that way. She has been through a lot in 16 years - broke her nose 6 times, 2 knee surgerys (birth defect), broke her hand and foot, leg and arm. She had her appendix takin out 2 months ago and we just visited Mayo Clinic over the summer to find out she has CFIDS and POTS. thanks again- John
