Scent gland dots in shed? Male or female?

Bobo's Mama

proud corn mommy!
I finally got to see Bobo shed. Well right after she did, I picked up her fresh shed to examine it and found two red dots by the vent. I know that they are the tips of her scent glands. I've searched for "red dots", and "red spots", but what confuses me is people say that this is a way to tell if she's male or female. But the threads I found contradict each other and I can't get a clear answer. Because I saw the dots, does that mean she is for sure female? Or do males have those dots in their sheds too?

All of mine have the red dots in their sheds, males and females.

 Thanks guys. Thats kind of what I figured. Its good to know. Now I feel kind of silly, because I just took a closer look at Skizzard's shed and he does have them too, and he's 100% male, been popped and probed by the breeder. One other thing I wanted to mention. I can see Skizzard's pigment in his shed. Its so neat. Bobo's are just pale, but I can see the pattern in Skizzard's shed.

Hi bobo's mama, Could you tell me what type of corn that is in your avatar? I know its nothing to do with your post and I hope you don't mind me asking, thing is I'm new to corns and I just got a hatchling a few weeks ago and I was sold it as a Carolina corn, it is the same as the corn in your avatar, thx in advance.

TAM....

He is a normal corn. Also known as classic or wild-type. It means he doesn't have any mutations. Also means that if you were able to find a hatchling in the wild, it might look similar to him.
