red_mamma; ChiaraMom; Gintha: Thanks for the nice comments. I'm glad you tolerate the hand shots. My pics are more documentary than art, and I can pin them in all sorts of crazy positions when they are in hand. I can also capture them from almost any angle at any time, so I can get belly shots, cutely-angled head shots, etc.. I should at least accessorize as
Lennycorn suggested, but my fingers are very claustrophobic (particularly my left ring-finger :grin01: ). Maybe I could get a white glove for dark snakes and a black glove for light snakes...
peep_827: Thanks for the comment. Yes, I also use the pick-up-the-hide-and-snap-the-pics method, and a few others too. But most of my corns are accustomed to being camera-flashed continually, so sometimes I actually have to reach in and stir them up a bit to get a different pose. Others (especially the bloods, for some reason) will freeze in defensive positions until stirred. I like the defensive shots.
jazz-geek: Thanks. I love lavs, blizzards, and pewters. I'm a big fan of normals too, and I've got two more on the way from Carol. I got an '05 Miami female for Sonny, and I needed a male '03 Upper Keys as a collection snake. So for normals, I'll have a pair of Okeetees, a pair of Miamis, a stunning "pet store normal", and an Upper Keys. We'll see if the new Miami female can turn you into a full-fledged Miami fan.
