Partial Shedding

Hi

My snake has shed twice perfect both times however last night he shed again however the last couple of inches on the tail have not shed.

What should I do here? - any recommendations please

bring him out for a playtime in a warm damp towel. hold him through the towel and let him slither through... it'll usually come right off...

did this just last night with my Dumeril's that left a couple pieces behind

If it is just a small full piece i would simply hold his tail in the water dish for a couple of seconds then ease it off. It won't be hard.

If there are lots of little pieces every where I would put it in a pillow case filled with damp towels.

I feel since the humidity is not quite right in these situations it is especially important to make sure the eye caps have come of properly, although you should do this every shed.

Next shed a couple of squirts of a plant misting bottle in the morning and at night might be a good idea to bump the humidity up slightly. Only 1-2 squirts though don't go over board.
