baby corn shed cycle?

serpentalley

Mirage, motley snow corn.
We just had our baby snake, Mirage for not even a month yet. Can anyone tell me how long it takes in between each shed cycle for a young (3 months)snake?

The person I got her from said Mirage last shed around Oct 30th. It is now 1 month since then and there are no evident signs of a shed yet (eyes are still clear and bright). She measures about 30 cm so I assume she is around 3 months old. We feed her one f/t baby newborn hamster every 4-5 days. Cool hide is 72-75F and warm hide is 80-87F..

Mine shed every 3 weeks which is really the quickest they will be 4-5 weeks i think is more average. Check her belly for faded scales which are the very first sign of shed mode I imagine they will turn bluey very soon. i wouldn't really recommend hamsters, gerbils or young rats as they contain a lot of fat. Mice are much better if you can get them as are fully grown rats although It would have to be a very large corn to tackle one.

We checked her belly scales and they are kind of pearlescent, something like the inside of an abalone shell with some blueish hues. I never noticed if they were like that when we first got her.

My corn snake is about the same age, last had a shed around november 1st, and is just begining to exhibit blueish belly scales, and slight bluing of the tail, I figure should be blue within a week.
