fixed feeding question

i finally got my cornsnake i would like to know how long i should give the snake to eat the pink in the box ]say it does not eat the pink in ten minutes should i put it back in the tank??????

How long until you try to fed him a pinkie since you brought him home? I'd say between four days to a week. They need time to settle in.

Are you asking how long it will take him to eat a pinkie? If thats the question, it will take as long as it takes! Corns eat at their own pace. Some slow, some super fast.

Yes very confusing question... I think their asking how long from the day they brought back their corn should they try to feed their corn a pinky... I would say like what Bmm says about 4-7 days... any time sooner then that could cause your snake to reger the pinky...

Nah, I know what it means. He's asking how long he should leave the snake in its feeding container before putting it back if it doesn't eat.

Well, I'd recommend holding a warm mouse with long tweezers or tongs and moving it around slightly so the snake really knows it's there. IMHO, this is better than just leaving it, motionless, on the floor. It doesn't matter how long you wait but ten minutes is fine.

LOL Neil your right about them asking the question... I couldnt put my finger on exactly what they were asking... but after you figured it out Id have to say your right about the question!!! lol
