Blizzard & Amel Motley (Freshly Shed)

Here are my two biggest summer '05s, each a little over 70g. I finally was able to see the blizzard female's yellows under an intense fluorescent light. But I really had to look. The flash seems to bring it right out in the pics, though. In person she just looks pinkish white. The amel motley het lav is a male.

Your photography skills are really coming along, Dean ;*)...Sweet pics of some beauties :)

Great pics, as always. I can't get over the size of them!
Oh, and if you ever get tired of looking at that amel mot, I am sure my little Layla would love him :grin01:

Thanks guys. I must be leaving my finger on the auto-focus button longer. ;)

Amazing. I can't get over how big they are! I really love that blizzard. And that Amel Mot is a screamer!
The yellow on the blizzard is pretty cool in the photos. Great job!

I so much love those white bellied red snakies! I can't get enought of looking at the white coming in with those younglings...

Thanks for the nice comments, all. :)

I'm with you on that. He's not my favorite looking snake on top, although I like his look a lot, but I give him my "best belly in the collection" award. My yeller-bellied Upper Keys is close behind him though. :)

Beautiful snakes and GREAT pictures! Congrats. And great size on them, too. :)

Thanks! The compliments of a fellow Vermonter mean a lot to me (I'm originally from Morrisville, just North of Stowe).

You're very welcome. Nice to hear you hailed from Vermont. You were up there in the state a bit, hey? So, you moved down where the winters are a little bit less extreme, you like that better?

I miss the crazy winters we had up there in the mid-to-late seventies. I was a kid, and I didn't have to drive, so it was perfect-- kid heaven. But even Northern Vermont doesn't get winters as extreme as those anymore. Connecticut gets a real winter, so it's tolerable in that respect. I could never live in SoCal or Florida; I need distinct seasons. :)
