Sorry about the strictness of this requirement, but it is necessary to block spammers and scammers at the door as much as possible.
I'm sure there is plenty of advice for lost snakes, but I really can't find it right now. I have no idea how to retrieve my snake who has disappeared down the back of my room, in the chimney area. I can't access it. Please advise!!
when was the last time he ate? ive never had a snake get away since my room is "snake proof" and with the door shut he cant go anyywhere.. but if he hasnt ate if a few days.. makea bottle trap with a F/t mouse in it and leave it on the floor near a heat source..
all you do is get a 2L bottle cut the top off (about 3/4) up the bottle.. then place the top upside down into the bottle and tape it there.. so in thery.. he goes in and cant get out.. mind you this wont work for a big snake..sorry i couldnt be of more help!
I thought I'd snake-proofed the room, but she disappeared through a gap in my skirting board, to god knows where. Lifting up floorboards etc hasn't been of any use. She last ate on Sunday morning.
I've tried the bottle thing overnight, but no luck so far. I don't really understand the principle behind it though, surely the snake just goes out through the hole, the same way it came in?
Put a pinky or whatever sized food you're feeding in there. They will eat and stay in there. If you use the search function and put in lost snake, or escaped snake you'll have more threads than you know what to do with!
