She's not sleeping in her hide

I woke up this early this morning (kinda under the weather today) and saw my baby curled up outside her hide. I didn't think much of it because it was still dark out. Now the sun is up and there pretty of light in my room, and Ruby is still curled up out in the open, only now she's covering her eyes with her tail (It is so cute). Why do you think she's doing that? I was thinking she no longer is afraid to be out in the day, but might something be wrong with her?

My snake did the very same thing yesterday. He usually comes out in the late afternoon/early evening and stays out all night, I guess. He usually goes into his hide or under the substrate during the day. But yesterday he fell asleep (?) curled up outside of the hide. I don't think that necessarily indicates a problem. I just think they are feeling secure enough at the moment to lay out in the open. After I started using Carefresh, my snake had a favorite burrow spot for a few days and seemed to forget all about the hide. He's back in the hide again today though, tummy full of pinky

When my snake got a new tank, he used his hide a lot more, but now he sleeps out in the open. I think he just feels more comfortable now that he's had some time to settle in. Assuming temperature and everything else is okay, I wouldn't worry.
