Weird looking genitals and pregnant ladies

SnakeAround

Formerly Blutengel
First some pics of 2 mice I found out to be pregnant yesterday. The pied lady more obvious than the brown one, but both very apparent, even for a novice (me)... :crazy02:

Last pic in the reply is from a lady I had sitting with a male for weeks. That male put the other 2 with babies so he's fertile, but this lady didn't get pregnant... I put her in with him 'cause her genitals looked a little swollen (not reddish) so I thought maybe it was a sign of being in heat... Since she didn't show any sign of being pregnant after 5-6 weeks I decided to set the male with some other females. Her genitals still look the same today(after 3 weeks of being with only female and 1 week with a teenage male added); swollen, not reddish and somewhat 'opened'. There seems to be something sticking out in the lower part, it's pale pink and not hanging loose or so so I don't expect it to be intestines or internal tissue... When touched it feels solid, not wet and not slimy. It seems to stick out more lately. Her condition seems a little off; lost some weight I think though I'm not sure really. Further she has shown to be allergic to aspen, so she's a little problem child... I'm thinking of feeding her off but maybe some people here know what it could be and how to cure it without vet bills. Cause she's a breeder animal and not a pet after all... Or shouldn't I feed her to the snakes because of this?

The weird genitals (never thought I would ever be concerned about mice genitals  )

2 pics of the dad of the unborn mice; 1 taken today (mouse on foreground in the wheel) and one from when he was a teenager.

Can anybody tell me if a grey piebold with a 3-colored piebald produce piebalds and if so what color(s)?

Tnx!

Hard to tell from the pic but if she is not fertile, and the genitals look swollen and red, she could have a uternine infection. There could also be some discharge. I personally would not feed her to a snake, especially if her health is visibly declining like you say.

Well, the genitals didn't look red, but a little swollen..... 'cause it didn't seem to be contageous (parasite) and snakes have very strong digestive juices I did feed her to my snake and it gave no problems, as expected. She was not that ill, only a little thin and maybe a little slower/less alert but I was not even sure about that. Most important reason was that she didn't get pregnant....
