Human Heat Pads

I read on another site that some people use human heat pads, on low, underneath their tanks/bins instead of reptile UTH. Does anyone here do that? Does it work well?

The only problem I had with the situation was, all of the human heating pads I saw, shut off outmatically after two hours, and that's no good.

I don't . But why would you? Not you personally but why use something that it not really design for. I can see if you were in a pinch, but to me, use the proper tool and you will get better results. Just my thoughts again.
