Female Biardi breeding weight?

carol

Down with the sickness
Hi all!
Just curious if any of you know what a good weight is to start breeding a female Biardi. I have a 3 year old pair and the female weighs around 380 grams. They are my first pair so I'm not sure if they are full grown or if they are going to get bigger. Any advice on if I should go ahead, or wait a year would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Carol

My breeding pair of Bairdi are more slender than my corns. The female, getting ready for brumation, weighs 366 grams. The male weighs 331. They are about 7 yrs old and are proven breeders. They seem to maintain a base weight of 350-380. I'd like to see her at 400 for breeding, but 360-380 will do.
