snake bags are used to transport snakes. Transporting would include shipping (in which case you put the bag inside a secure box), going to the vet, evacuating your house in case of emergency, or even if your heater goes out and you have to take all your snakes into bed with you to keep them warm enough. You can make one by using a long pillowcase, depending on what kind of snake you want to transport. Make sure to knot the end securely (avoid getting their tails caught in the know) and also make sure that the weave of the bag isn't too tight, in which case air couldn't get through very easily.
