Ultra Sonic Fog Generators

serpentalley

Mirage, motley snow corn.
Have any of you used ultra sonic fog generators to increase the humidity in your snake's viv (like the one exo terra makes). Are those recommended for corns with bad sheds or too dry an environment?

Mirage had a bad shed again even though I was lightly misting the cage 2x daily since I noticed he was in blue. The % humidity seems to stay at about 30-40% when I don't mist, which is pretty dry. I know the fogger couldn't be left on all the time since it would be too damp (like a rainforest environment) and that would be bad for corn snakes.

I have one of these and it is pretty cool the way it works. I wouldnt use it for snake because it brings the humidity up to like 90-100 percent.

Yeah, I just saw the post. I am sorry to have wasted everybody's time.

No hard feelings. I can sort of see when some interesting story comes out in the news and several people post about it. This just seemed strange that two days ago somebody else asked (and I happened to read it  ).
