I can push a Quarter Horse around and treat it like a floormat, but the second I try to fight with an Arabian, they fight back. I love it. With Arabs, you need to develope more of a mutual partnership. It can't be merely trainer/rider and horse must listen. Then again, I enjoy a challenge.
Beautiful animals!
That's why I love my mustang, he's right in the middle. Definatley smart, smart enough to know that all that crazy bluff and excitedness is a waste of energy. His respect has to be earned, and in the saddle his stubborness is challenging, but much like an Arabian... once you've worked out the bond they are amazing. I think Arabians are one of the most beautiful horses around, but I just don't have the energy to keep up with them. Everything is an
event, they are so dramatic... I can watch them for hours. However, as for riding I'll stick my my wild man, smart as they come, but not out to prove it to the innocent bystander. LOL.
I guess he's a good INTJ horse, he's smart, honest, unemotional, and just plain makes sense even when he is stubborn.
I feel bad for the Arabian that shares the pasture with my two, he sooo wants a job and his mommy never visits him.

He is an absolute pest, but only because he is bored to death. I'd offer to ride him, but like I said, I'm too laid back of a person for that. At least he has his horsey friends.
