Update pics: Roxy and Serena

JenC

Missin her snakes
These girls are getting GIANT! And Serena is looking SOO much better than when i got her. Her jaw is finally filling in and shes got NO stuck shed left. Shes eating great and growing fast:) Roxy (in these pics is in her "dark phase") Is doing great too, in 9 months she went from 13" fuzzie mice to 38" and medium rats:)

Anyway, here they are. Roxy is the gal with reduced patterning and lighter color..and a smaller head. Serena is larger, bigger head, and a bit darker.

Question for all you boa experts:

Roxy is a BCI, no doubt, But do you think Serena is a BCCxBCI? Her thickness and length and head size are just not a normal BCI that ive seen.

I love the iridescence!! Amazing pair!!

Not an expert though so I will leave the question for someone else to answer.

Thanks again:) These girls are waiting for their salmon boyfriend to arrive soon:);) They are awsome girls:)

Nice Boas Jen. I still think you should send Roxy to me, she would fit nicely with the one or two others we have here.
As far as a BCI or BCC comparison I would say that Serena is still a BCI. Her saddle count is a bit less which may show some significance of a Central American boas but then the size may end up being a little smaller as an adult. BCC tend to have colors that appear more rich and deep. The Reds in the BCC's just seem to be much deeper than she has got going.
Just my opinion and I could be wrong so I wouldnt bank on my opinion.
