Baird's ratsnake

Kiss My Hearse
There seems to a growing interest in Baird's around here, so I thought I'd post a pic of Minerva. She's about 7 months old and getting huge. She never met a fuzzy she didn't like.

And some pics of my balls...pythons....

Very cool, I'm interested in getting a baird myself and it took awhile to figure out that the hatchlings don't even look close to the mature version. They have a bit of an ugly stage as a hatchling :) so I kept passing them over thinking that that wasn't what I wanted at all. It wasn't until I read another thread on here that I found out how much they change as they grow, and you never know how they are going to turn out... So it's back at the top of the list....

I'm hoping to have a clutch of hypo baird's and hets this summer. Here's the male.

Wow, he is funky looking. I really have an unhealthy addiction to orange and he's got some cool orange, but I'm not fond of the yellow. What would the hets look like? The gray with orange sides and underbellies? I take it the male is a hypo what is the female?

Male is hypo, female is het hypo, so I will have normals het hypo and pure hypos in the clutch. The hets will look like normal Baird's. The male looks very pearly pink/orange in person, not so much yellow. I think the flash brightened him up too much.

Cool, can't wait to see pics of the hatchlings, and I have the same problem shooting my aberrant king. She ends up looking yellow and black instead of the bright white she really is...
