just one more....
I know this is the corn snake forum, but the ball python forum kinda...well...sucks. So I am gonna post pictures here of Mouse. He is kinda skinny I think and has a little scar on his head from who knows what. But I think he is nifty looking! :) What do you think?

He looks so cool! Seriously, I would love a BP in the future, the only thing putting me off being the fact that they are known to be picky when it comes to food..
He does look great though :)

Thanks! I think he is cool too! :) I was worried about him not eating for me too, but he has eaten his first f/t meal with me so at least we are on the right track! :)

Beautiful!!! I want one myself. I think I'll wait until next year, after I get my current snakes into fancier habitats. Mouse is really cute. Great name!

thanks for the comments guys! I can't wait to start handling him. Do the BP act a lot different while being handled then the corns?

BP's just kinda sit there when you handle them. It's nice to have them just hang out with you. I used to take my Gerty to the coffee shop with me on warm nights and she would hang out in my shirt.

awesome! Can't wait till he is settled in and I can hang out with him! Thanks to all who responded! I appreciate it!

BP's are a lot different when handling. They just sit there. I call Zabini my little lap dog lol. Mouse is cute, I like his pattern! Did he come from the store where you work?

No, a guy just dropped him off at the pet store where I work and said he can't take care of him anymore. I was like, it looks like you haven't been taking care of him for the last 2 months! But anyway, that is how I ended up with Mouse!

And yes, he does need some fattening up!

Sounds like he's in better hands. It's good he ate for you, I bet he was starving pore thing! I would probably work at a pet store if it weren't for owners who don't care about there animals. A few weeks ago I was at a local pet store and this guy comes in and says he's thinking of buying a parrot but doesn't know anything (he thought his girl friend would like it). In the time I'm there he buys the bird and the equipment. So your trying to tell me that in 15 min. you've learned all you need to know to take care of a parrot from what a store person told you? Ah well, I hope he's good at on the job training  . I saw exactly the same scenario today with a man buying a leopard gecko for his son (I know nothing, teach me quick). It's that kind of impulse buy that would drive me crazy working at a pet store. I'll get off my soap box now. Congrats on Mouse lol :D!

yeah, we get those kind of crazy pet store people in all the time. I am the reptile girl though, and I will not sell them one unless they answer 3 basic questions. What is needed to house this reptile? What and when should it be fed? If you are unable to care for the pet or need help with the pet, will you call me right away? If they answer those three things correctly, then I go and get out the reptile they are looking at. Otherwise, I tell them to go to PetCo, they will sell anyone anything as long you have the ridiculous amount of money to pay for the underfed, not taken care of reptile. Sad really....
