ive decided to feed in the bathtub, that way if theres any mess it will be easily washed out. however, im wonodering how long after can i pick her up and put her back in her tank?

The bathtub might not be the best idea. I would feed it a Sterilite tub with holes in it for air or a smalll critter keeer. It is much less stressful on the snake then putting them in the bathtub with all those smells. What about soap scum and cleaners? That is all really bad for the snake! I would advise against feeding in the bathtub. There usually isn't much of a mess, especially when you feed frozen/thawed mice. As for putting it back in it's tank, I wait about 10-15 min after I see them eat the entire mouse before picking them up and setting them back in their tank. Others might say different, but that has worked for us!

I agree, dont put him/her in the bath tub, there is way too much bacteria and other harmful things in there...find a smaller container like suggested...that would be the safest way to go
