elaphe obsoleta spiloides
Grey Rat Snake
This is my very first obsoleta and I'm pumped to be introduced to this branch of the rat snake family! I haven't named him yet, but I'm leaning towards "Dorian". Suggestions are welcome. He weighed in at 128g, so I'm assuming he's an 04. Thanks for looking :wavey:

ANOTHER new snake! Wow, Mike, you're setting new records. He's a beauty though. Good name choice I think.

Oh nice, I'm from westfield, but live by the shore now. where did you live?
I was born in Elizabeth and lived in Springfield until I was about 8. We moved to Florham Park in 1965 and came to Florida in '72. I had and aunt that lived in Point Pleasant, and I really miss the Jersey shore. :wavey:

Yeah that's cool, a double meaning! Tommy Shaw's solo in Crystal Ball is in Dorian mode as well as "What do we do with a drunken sailor"

Thanks, Dean. I'm out of control at the moment, I had a hard time leaving the albino ruthveni behind. As a bonus, I stopped at my favorite waterin' hole and they had Guiness Draught on sale! I've had a good day

LOL...I KNEW it wouldn't be too much longer before you added a grey rat to your collection! CONGRATS! I hope you enjoy him!
