how often to feed??

I have had my snake for a week now i fed it on sat.and wed..i was told 1 pinkie every 4 days..i also read that a good way to judge is when hes pooped (sorry) out one meal hes ready for the next ..but does that mean hes getting enough to eat?? and how can i tell if i should up the pinkie count at a feeding??

well. every 4-7 days, depends on the lump the prey food item leaves. and the food item has to be 1.5 times times the biggest part of the snakes girth.
