Feeding Fish?

Question. A friend of mine told me that corn snakes can eat fish? Said she knew of one that did. Is that healthy? Good/Bad? I'm not going to do it, but it's perked my interest.
 
Some snakes like garters eat fish as part of their regular diet, but I don't believe anyone has documented a wild corn eating fish. I wouldn't.
 
NO. i have heard of and read of people scenting pinkies using tuna to help get a corn to eat a pinkie, but not actually feeding them fish.
fish doesnt have all the nutrients that corns need. also there is a huge risk with feeding fish to any reptile...some species of fish contain an enzyme called thiaminase, which destroys Vitamin B1 (thiamin) and gives your snake a potentially fatal vitamin deficiency. also, even snakes fed mostly on fish need a supplement to get all the nutrients they need.
also many live fish are loaded with parasites which can be passed on to your snake like roundworm, pinworm, tapeworm.
 
I've never heard of a corn eating fish but I know some people that feed their Eastern Indigos fish once a month since fish it is part of their natural diet. Eastern Indigos will often start out only eating fish as hatchlings also.
