Know the breeder...........
Pewter brings up a vaild idea here. Many wholesalers will sell something by the way it looks. Breeders tend to be more accurate with the labeling of their offspring because they are accountable in the end.
The snake in question is a very monotone looking snake. That certainly doesn't mean it's not a Lav but it does leave the door open for the possibility that it's not. I have seen a few Lavs on Rich's page that have that look. I've taken enough pics to know that some of the subtler colors can get washed out. For instance, the bedding in that pic has a very pale yellow color on my screen, it doesn't look entirely accurate to me.
If you know and trust the breeder, I'd say call it a Lav with confidence. If you bought it from a broker and don't really know the lineage, you might consider the possibility that it's not a Lav.
Just some ideas to ponder.
