Shedding and the next skin layer...

My corn is just about to shed. He was in blue up until 2-3 days ago and cleared up. Now as I have observed his belly, I can see what looks to be The new layer of skin. I may be crazy, but it looks like I can see his black belly marks on his new layer of skin underneath. I can tell that they may be new because they are bigger. Half is black and dark, and a little bit above all of the black marks I can see a shade of black, like a gray that looks like it could be bigger markings.

This may be hard to follow, so i'll try to include a picture.

But, is this what I could be seeing? The next layer of skin?

Here is a closeup of the belly markings. You can kind of tell that the black marks have two different shades-dark/lighter.

Here's another...Sorry for the multiple posts. I messed up.

The ultimate with regards to sheding, is to have your snake shed in your hand. Believe it or not, it happened to on the of Forum member (sorry, can't remember who) and there was pics of it too... amazing! The one after that is to see them shed.... I wish I could at least see mine shed :(

Yea, the guy in the picture shed about a week ago. Didnt get to see it though. I was concerned as the skin came off in like 3-4 pieces and a lot of small fragments. He also has about an inch of skin left on his tail which I immediately got off with a damp cloth.

Is this sdomething I should be concerned about? Should I raise the humidity?

The humidity should be between 40-50%.
What I usually do when she shows the first signs that she is going to shed is to put an additional bowl of water under the lamp so that the humidity is higher. Also once or twice a day, I spray the tank as well as Freya, she loves it when shedding!
