Down with the sickness
OK, I am playing around trying to figure out who will go with who this coming season.
I am split as to who I want to breed to this lovely female hypo.

My best choices are,
Bachelor #1 (Hypo Lav)
which would give me Hypos het Lav
or
Bachelor #2 (Bloodred)
which would give me normals het Bloodred and Hypo
What do you think?

I selected #2 because looking at her I think she'd make a good mate to extend your bloodreds, but actually, I'd mate her with both males... this should help to ensure good fertilization, and if both males sire some of her offspring you'd be able to tell which are from which father....

Theres an idea, I guess I could tell who was who, the ones from the Hypo Lav would be Hypo and the ones from the Bloodred, not. I'll be in big trouble if an amel pops out though. :D I got myself into trouble doing that this year because I was working with a "darker hypo" line and it is hard to tell the dark hypos from the light normals. I shouldn't have this problem with this clutch though since both the Hypos are very light. I'll definately consider that one!
