not sure what this is, but it looks like theres dirt on my anery stripe's nose. I tried to rub it off, much to his disaproval, and it wouldn't come off, it felt a little rough. I don't know if you can see it, but its right on the tip of his nose, like a darker rough patch, What do you guys think it is?

My normal had something like that only it was on the top of his head awhile back. I don't know what caused it, but I first noticed it right after a shed. It got less and less noticeable after each shed, and it's about 6 months later and you can't see it at all anymore.

This may sound a bit gross, but this happened to my amel awhile back. I even saw it happen. He had a poop, and then crawled through it, and apparently the poop stained his nose, because when he shed it came off. It also could be an abrasion from rubbing against the screen lid if you have one. Either way, it should probably go away with the next shed. :)

Probably just nose rub.

More likely if it's a male at this time of year as he'll be poking around everywhere trying to get out and go looking for luuuuurve.

Nothing you can really do about it, and also nothing to really worry about. It should go when he next sheds .....

:)

yea he's a boy, just really reached sexual maturity this year and he is REALLY active, always searching every corner of the viv, I'm guessing he just rubbed it wrong, I'll watch for it after his next shed. Thanks guys!
