Hi my corn was really lively till a couple of days ago now its lying quite still not moving very much and not bothered if you disturb it do you think it will shed soon he is 3 but i have only recently got him so havent seen him shed before i havent noticed his eyes being blue yet

any advice welcomed

My guess would be that it is likely due to an upcoming shed. Some snakes will be inactive only a couple of days, but others may lay low for a week or so before a shed. In my experience, the older they are the longer they are inactive before a shed.

It depends on how much they are growing, which is often related to age/size. Young ones usually shed about once a month. As they get older, they tend to not grow as fast and consequently don't shed as often.

I don't have experience with older snakes so I can't say for sure what the time frame is for shedding of more mature snakes. There might be info in the FAQ section for health/feeding on shedding time, but I'm not sure.
