Sexing - how soon?

I'm guessing my hatchling is around 6 weeks old (about 10" - the pet shop wasn't too precise!). Is it too soon to see if either of my local vets have a reptile person to sex it for me?

Steve.

Much to soon for probeing.

I asked the same question a few weeks ago.

Give it a few months before getting your corn probed.

You can try rubbing gently at the bottom of the vent towards his head.

Some times you can get a young male to show you his manhood.

Thanks skad2k. I was going to see if the vet would have a go at popping, but I'll wait a while then get him/her probed. Maybe the first/next shed will give me enough scales to count?

Regards,
Steve

I waited till my corn was 8 months old. Found she is a girl! Need to find a male so in a year or so to breed with Anyone any suggestions what morph to breed a candy cane with?
