And here is two yearling bloodreds. This time it is reversed.
FEMALE=TOP
MALE=BOTTOM
Funny I found an interesting way of sexing corns, but I guess it depends on the camera. I found I can get a pic of a females tail from about 1-2 feet away, but if I have to fit a male's tail in the pic, I have to go more that 2 feet away to get the whole thing in the pic.
It seems pretty consistant around here. Only works on yearling and older.

I didn't post them to show everyone thier beautiful tails, I thought it would help some people who were wondering what the difference was. I often see people request some comparison pics so I finally took some. I know I couldn't decide which forum to post this in Breeding or Hubandry, but I think as an aid to new owners, I think it belongs here. And not in the photo gallery which is more for "showing off" your animals. Bad choice of words but I can't think of anything better right now

You are the only one critisizing, I was only defending my desicion to post them here. This in deed was an answer to many questions, people requesting these pics. I finally got some extra time to get these pics for people who want them. It was an explanation as to why I posted them here, not an attack on you.

Very nice pic's! and a great way to see the difference, now if I could just get my snakes to lay still against the screen i might be able to tell them apart! I am going to go home and practice my snake traning skills. "ok kids roll over and lay next to the screen...now stay!" Hmm you think it will work??
Oh and Gregg, I agree with you, nothing better than some fine looking tail!!

LOL, typical men!! Thanks for posting those pics, they will be a great help when I have hatchlings to sex (obviously when they are a bit older!). I know what you mean about it being a many people task...It takes 2 of us just to take a normal photo of Pretzel! And even then he really lives up to his name
