Bathing Beauties

So I've read all about bathing corns... how exactly do you go about giving snakes "baths"? And how often should you do it? I've noticed that Leche's head is a bit dirty from burrowing... any tips? Thanks! :D

You don't have to bathe them if you don't want, I do to give them exercise and help them when they are shedding. I just pop them in a tub of tepid water (should be slightly cool to the touch) whenever. No strict bathing plan!! You don't need to do it to keep them clean, they will shed off any dirt but bathing can help shedding and some like to poo in the water! If you have an old tub (like a baby bath or something) you could use that. Alot of people don't like putting them in their bath, risk of salmonella, your snake ingesting soapy water etc but its up to you. I personally put mine in the bath. I just make sure its well rinsed out before and after they use it. Keep an eye on them too...just incase they decide to go wandering!

All my snakes seem to enjoy the bath they have once a week. I bath them about 60 hours after feeding and they all poop during the swim. It saves cleaning out the tank and it must be good exercise. Basically I agree with Rachel
