When to switch?

You should be feeding prey items up to 1.5 times the girth of your snake, if when you feed it a pinky there is no noticable bump in the snakes belly then it should be time to move up to fuzzies.

I see this is your first post so welcome to the forum :wavey: There is loads of quality info here!

Thankyou, that really helped. This is the only place with consistent info, everywhere else makes my head spin with contradictions. Getting my first snake on the 29th hopefully, so i will be posting lots of pictures of him/her. Even got a baby album for it!

when the lumps no longer visible from the pinkie. feed it 2 pinkies at a time for a few feedings then move up to fuzzies. I breed my own mice and rats so my snakes have that gradual size transition.
