Feeding help!

This is the first I'm posting here. I got a creamsicle corn snake on Saturday, and it's been great! A total sweetheart. Well, today is feeding day, and they told me that it had been eating 3 frozen hoppers. Do I feed them to her all at once, or one each day for 3 days? And what's this de-braining thing? Do I have to do it? They didn't say anything about it to me.

Welcome to the forum!

First off, if your snake is taking 3 mice at a time, I'd say it's probably ready for a size up. See what the lump is like in your snake after it's eaten. If you can barely see a lump, bump up a prey size next time.

Now to your questions...

If you are feeding multiple items, feed all at once. Just put all the mice in the feeding tub with the snake.

No, you don't have to brain the mice. Braining is when you cut in to the mouse's head to expose the 'contents' because it has a very enticing smell to the snake. If you don't want to do it, then don't. It isn't essential.

Good luck! :)
