OK ALL.

I have decided to brumate my male, the thing is i have nowhere cold enough except my downstairs little room, where the temp fluctuates between 60 and 70 degrees,is this ok ??.

I fed him the sunday before last so i think i will leave him in the warm for another two/three weeks.

Do you think it would be ok to put him in the cooler place direct or should i lower temp gradualy??.

THANKS in advance..............................STEVE:)

I would lower the temp as gradually as possible, but sometimes that isn't as easy as it sounds. Your downstairs little room sounds ideal for brumation! Temps low enough, but not too cold. If your snake is currently on heat, after you're sure his intestines are empty, and the average room temp where he currently is ranges between corn ideal and your little room temp, just turn off the heat source for a week or two before moving him to his final destination.
