Lost snake

Well after 3 years of keeping corns I finally had one escape. 2 weeks ago I bought two little corns from the petstore. The conditions in there were bad so i figured i would buy them and bring them home. Last night one got out, i am not sure how but I probably forgot to lock the cage. Anyway I really need to find him/her. My roommate is deathly afraid of snakes and he is coming home this weekend. How far would he have gone? Is it probable that he is still in the same room? I have tore my house apart looking for him. I have set out pinkies and water with flour around them and flour at the doorways. I am going to make a bottle trap in a little bit. Anything else I can do?
Thanks
Lexi

Reading the other lost snakes post, some ideas are:

Snakes dont travel too far from the viv, not as far as you'd think. Check everywhere close to the viv, and put flour around it.

Pop-Bottle traps, which is the neck part of the bottle cut off, and then turned the other way around and put back into the bottle, so you get a > Shape to the top of the bottle, then to put a pinke in there.

erm... wow I remembered more when I clicked Reply, but no I forgot most :sidestep: . Ill repost if I remember any, Good Luck!
