Dakota's lump

Dakota fresh from shed.

My last post of her mentioned a lump I thought I felt.
Best pics I could get, but it is now very visual and feels hard?
It is not far enough down to be a stomach issue, and it's not a blockage as she is eating and defecating normally. I know it's hard to tell but any opinions are welcome.

Lump or no lump, Dakota is one BEAUTIFUL snake! Maybe its a few broken ribs that have fused together? :shrugs: Hopefully its not something life-threatening.

just a shot in the dark, is there any possibility of it being an abcess? I remember seeing a zoo-vet type program that showed how reptile abcesses contain solid pus and showed a snake having a lump removed and stitched up again.

Thanks, I'm pretty much open to a buffet of possibilities at this point! :shrugs:

maybe a sist?, recentally messed my knee up, and got x rays, turns out that i have one in the bone of my leg....:shrugs:

My first thought was an abcess or a cyst, too. I hope you get it sorted out. She is one gorgeous girl.
