Oh dear Oh dear OH DEAR! Boidula fever is sweeping these forums, EVEN Dean!!!

Great pick ups! Whats your plans with the nice big BCI?

Looks like you got a good deal there Chris. I got f/t feeder, a thermostate and my girls got some turtles. Oh boy!
The show was small I thought and I didn't see all the vender's that were listed there. But overall, it was all right.

yea, for a once yearly show, i thought it would be bigger, i might stop by tomarrow twards the end, just to see if there are any good deals, i only live about 25 mins away. where are you located?

O and i have a hatchling male boa, so in a year or two when this one puts on some length and girth .....:santa: ;)

Feed her up! she looks rather skinny for a 6ft female. My yearling girl is massive and shes only fed about once a month on jumbo rats... She refuses to eat more frequently and is stull growing like a weed! Dont mind If I post a comparison picture?

Any hets involved in the pairing or are you just after some BCI breeding experience first?

Almost the tip of South Jersey. Too far to make another trip, even for ten buck admission. Driving in the rain was a pain in butt. But for you, going back and loading up on f/t feeders might be smart. But I only found one guy selling them.

Yeah, It was hard to spot. I can't remember who. But I think... first table straight in, to the right a little :shrugs: He had them in a "tall" red cooler. On the said of the table. I got adults, 3 1/2 to 4 inches, don't know the grams. 50 count for $25.00. The f/t were the same as you get online without s/h. Oh, yeah, he had live pinky's and hoppers on the table too. but pricey. I got there about 12.00pm

Good Luck.

very very nice.. boids are the best ;)

i cant wait untill sept 10.. i will be going to the expo and hoping to pick up a Solomon Island Ground Boa.. and a Cooks Tree Boa :D

I'm going to the show in Michigan this weekend. I havn't been since February or march because of being busy, so I've had to have a few things shipped. Awesome snakes, I'm not much into boids, but those are really nice. I'll get some eventually. Nice additions.

im still surprized Dean has not stopped by her yet.....with all the talk of rainbow boas n all
This is my first time opening this thread. No boid fever here. I still only have a rosy, and those hardly count. After your last BRB purchase, Chris, I checked out the website of the breeder from which you got it. I was close to picking up a pair, but I decided to hold off until '07. That will give me time to assess my space a little better. BRBs are really about the only boas that I would consider getting. Nothing against other boas, but I'm a colubrid guy. But the rainbows' iridescence is too cool.

The new BRB is awesome! Congrats.

Nice looking snakes, though I am with Dean on this one. The only boid that interests me is rainbow boas. One day....
