Hooah!
Anybody know a good FROM LAND bass fishing spot between say crystal river and tampa? In the mood for some bass fishing, but can't find a good place.

Sucks to be shorebound, don't it? (no boat here either :() PM Joejr if he doesn't post; he's an avid fisherman from FL also, he may know some good spots...
 
I'm not in to freshwater fishing as much as salt, but Homosassa Springs seems to be quite popular with everyone I work with. There is supposed to be a really popular lake in Lakeland, where I work, that they go to as well, (Might be stocked :shrugs: ). I'll try to find out tomorrow...

Only places I know are Lake Parker (big gators in there) and Saddle Creek. There is good fishing in the creek but I wouldn't eat anything from there. Old reclaimed phosphate mines. :puke01:
 
Dude just drive around until you find a pond, stop, and wet a line. There are bass in every body of water.

I caught a 12lber back in middle school from a dinky half acre park pond.
