hi there

hi there last night i got 3 eggs hatch ,its the second clutch from a pair of normal corns around 3 years old ,the first clutch she laid in the water bowl so i lost all the eggs this time i managed to save 5 of the eggs as again she decided to lay them in the bowl as opposed to the box of peat i had provided ,

so,when should i feed them for the first time and what should the first meal be ,i did not know whether or not they would require pinkies for the first meal ,

thanks for any advice

Ronnie

Thanks for the advice

i have had both my corns from babies but when i bought them from my local supplier they were already feeding well.

i must say that i was so exited last night when i found them i was like a big kid ,i have transfered them into a larger box with a water bowl and after talking to my supplier when i went down for a load of pinkies ,i was told that their stomach is full of yolk when they are born so there is no massive rush to feed them.i had thought they would be hungry straight away ,but anyway the food is now ready when they are .

thanks again

Ronnie
