This will not be the norm, "what are they?" But I do have a question; two really.

How many do I need to pass around before I can re-rep up someone again?
I owe some folks.

And I was just viewing my profile and I got a blue/gray one. What does that mean? Did I make someone mad?
 
I don't know what the blue ones mean either, but I was told that you have to give out 10 before you can re-rep someone.
 
I believe a gray one just means that the person who repped you doesn't have any rep points of their own yet.
