can i use course sand as a bedding or is it bad for my snakes? (aspen is really dusty) has anybody had any health problems (snake health problems...) caused from course sand

BTW i just got a kingsnake today!!!! :D :D :D im sooo excited. it is so active and doesnt seem scared of me.

thanks

No

Sand is not really good for most snakes. It can irritate them and is more than difficult to keep clean.

Use paper towel, aspen, newpaper....those are the safe ones. Other things work too...those three are just the ones I have used.
