Hi,
I'm gonna get a snake this weekend (carolina corn), and the thing is that when it is older, I was thinking of turning part of my computer desk into the Vivarium. Obviously the place is far from the computer itself as it is a corner desk (at least 6 feet away from any electronics.) The question is... would I be able to make a 2 story vivarium with some way of the snake being able to get from one floor to the other. (Maybe a log or ramp.). I would make maybe one floor warm and the other cool.

The question is... Would the snake actually use both floors or would it just be a complete waste of time?

I would have hides and other things in both floors.

I would think the snake would use both floors. You might have to place it on each floor to know it is there.
But remember...you going to have to clean this cage out every month or so.
so give it the kiss. KEEP IT SIMPLE .
 
All in all sounds like a nice idea, as long as it's planned well and is secure etc. And like Lenny said, the more complex the viv the more you'll have to change/clean, so have a good think about it.
