Ok i got a stick temp on one side but with my leopard gecko it said it gets up to 100 but i don't really belive that. Is a 60 watt bulb ok? I got a electronic temp on the other side to read but it dosn't go that high. Of course its on the other side of the lighting and undertank heater. Is that ok? Or should i switch sides just to be safe?

To be truly safe, don't use the stick on one at all. Get a digital thermometer witha probe. Put the probe directly on the glass over the UTH, and the unit on the cool side. This will give you an accurate reading, and there are models that will display both temps at the same time. Other models have a switch to change from the probe reading to the unit reading.
