If I fed my snake one pinky 4 hours ago and don't see a lump, should I give him another now?
That doesn't seem like a good reason to do it. :shrugs:mcsplifford said:But can I, if there was someone who wanted to see it?

Invite them over in 5-6 days.Roy Munson said:I wouldn't bother. Give him an appropriately-sized meal at his next feeding. A hatchling corn should be eating every 5-6 days.

That's not really the point. The point is that the snake has settled in after a meal, and this is not the best time to disturb him. The stress could cause a regurge. I don't know the likelihood of this occurring, but why risk it just to put on a show?simple_minded said:It probably won't kill the snake if it gets fed two pinkies, but it IS better for it to get its meals once every week or so.
It also depends on how large your snake is. If it's a young adult or adult corn, I doubt 1 pinky makes much of a difference...
I'm going on vacation next week and some of my animals will go an extra 3-4 days without a meal and will be just fine, in fact, I have 2 hatchlings that went almost 2 months before the ate for the 1st time and were still full of pi** and vinegar.mcsplifford said:and I am more concerned about the snake being hungry than I am about leting someone watch it eat.
