I'm Me, Deal With It
ok, so my rat is ready to pop again. well, the first time she had a litter, she "looked" pregnant the day before she had them. this time, she has looked pregnant for a week, and has slowly gotten bigger til today. i was wondering if this means she is going to have a big litter, and should i be nervous that she hasnt popped yet??

First litters are usually smaller. SHe'll probably have more this time. I wouldn't worry about it unless it's been well over 23 days.

Don't worry at all... I have found it really weird that some of my mice that don't get very big have huge litters and the ones that are huge have a normal size litter. Not much you can tell about the size of litter by the size of the mouse. It just makes it exciting to wait for the special day.

Good luck with the new babies,
John
