Quail eggs???

Corn, King & Royals
Hi
I have read somewhere that you can feed quail eggs to corns. Is this true? I would just like to know so as I can offer my snake more variety than just rodents. My corn is around 20inches and now feeding on fuzzies once a week. If I can give him an egg, would I have to give it him in place of a mouse that week?
Thanks in advance!!! :santa:

.
Occasionally, a quail egg can be offered to wild-caught specimens. If the snake likes it, one can be offered every couple of weeks. (Since quail eggs purchased in stores or from hatcheries are unlikely to be fertilized, they should not form a regular part of the main diet.)
.
Just don't do it though, keep your cornsnake on rodents.
